1. What is Intea® Chamomile Lightening Lotion?
It is a mixture of chamomile flower extract and active ingredients that gradually lighten the hair.
2. Are Intea® Chamomile Lightening Lotions colorants?
No, they are vegetable, unmixed lotions that are easy to apply and do not stain or leave any residue.
3. Do they contain ammonia, chemical or other dyes?
No, they do not.
4. Do they contain hydrogen peroxide?
Yes, in very small quantities (2 to 4%) to open the hair fiber and facilitate the absorption of the product's active ingredients.
5. Do they dye grey hair?
No, but they lighten the rest of the hair, which conceals it.
6. How do they act?
They act by gradually lightening the hair's natural pigments, which is why the blonde colour obtained is permanent and does not disappear when washed. As they are plant-based lotions, their action is progressive and gentle. Therefore, depending on the strength and colour of the original hair, more or less applications will be necessary until the desired blonde colour is obtained. If this is the first time you use them, it is recommended to make a test by applying them to a strand of hair to check the shade obtained.
7. How to use them?
As a general rule, they should be used on freshly washed and still damp hair as follows: Wash hair with shampoo and rinse well with warm water. Towel-dry the hair and spray Intea Chamomile Lotion on the still damp hair, trying to spread it evenly over all the hair and its roots, helping to spread it well with a plastic comb. Once applied, leave on for at least 30 minutes and blow dry the hair in the sun or with a hairdryer. It can also be applied to hair that has not been previously washed, either on dry hair or on hair previously moistened with hot water, drying the excess water with a towel.
8. Do I need to wash or rinse my hair after use?
No, but for hair with a tendency to dryness, we recommend doing so, always leaving the product on for at least 30 minutes.
9. Can I use a mask after applying Intea® Chamomile Lotion?
Yes, especially for dry hair, but you should leave the lotion on for 30 to 45 minutes. We recommend using the Intea® Chamomile Mask, which is specially indicated for blond hair.
10. For what type of hair is it recommended?
In general, it is recommended for hair whose original colour is between medium brown and dark blond. It is very useful to return the original blonde to hair that was once blonde and has become darker over time. It is not recommended for hair whose original colour is very dark or black.
11. Can it be used on chemically dyed hair?
Not without prior testing, as it can produce undesirable colours.
12. Can hair be dyed with chemical dyes that have been lightened with Chamomile Intea?
Yes, they can be dyed any color. We recommend waiting 30 to 45 days after using the lotions to ensure that the dye covers the hair evenly.
13. Does the sun's rays help to lighten hair?
Yes, because they naturally reinforce the action of Intea® Chamomile Lightening Lotions.
14. Are they compatible with Hair Lock?
Yes, and it also helps to maintain them.
15. Can it be applied more than once a day?
No. After the first use, they can be applied two or three times a week until the desired shade is achieved, we do not recommend further applications. Once tone is achieved, a weekly application on the roots is usually sufficient to lighten new hair growth.
16. Can it be used on chemically permed or chemically straightened hair?
Yes, but it is advisable to wait at least 30 to 45 days after treatment.
17. Does one lose the color acquired with Chamomile Intea® lotions with hair washes?
No, especially if you wash your hair with Camomile Intea® shampoo, which helps maintain the blonde colour of the hair by giving it shine and highlights. Simply apply the lotion to new hair as it grows.
